In recent years, Gastromatic has experienced substantial growth, thereby posting new requirements on the management. Specifically, the finance department's processes and structures needed to be professionalised to facilitate further expansion. As a result, the CFO, Kilian Stürmer, began searching for a sparring partner to acquire expertise and best practices for managing larger companies. NumberSquare was introduced to Gastromatic by one of their investors. As an expert in Finance as a Service, NumberSquare was able to meet Gastromatic's needs with a professional and customised offer.
Implementation
NumberSquare developed a three-month workshop programme for Gastromatic, tailored to the company's existing knowledge and growth potential. We conducted various training sessions and hands-on activities, which helped the client learn about relevant financial topics and apply them to their business. The programme covered a wide range of topics, including working capital optimisation, treasury and liquidity planning, integrated financial planning, scaling of accounting processes, pricing in the SaaS MRR context, consolidation, optimisation of receivables management and financial tools implementation. After the intensive learning phase, NumberSquare continued supporting the CFO for six months as a sparring partner in optimising and scaling the company.
Success
By working with NumberSquare, Gastromatic's CFO acquired extensive skills in financial modelling, process optimisation and liquidity management.
